Myriad Search
This is a small website I made for Aaron Wall in the Fall of 2005. It's a meta search tool with a little bit of a
twist. You get results from Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Ask Jeeves all inline with one another. The results are color-coded to show which result came from
which engine, and each result is given a composite score based on its ranking in each of the 4 engines. You can also click over to a different tab and
see the individual results from each engine individually.
The twist is the ability to tweak the weight that each engine has in the composite score. Perhaps not the most useful thing for your everyday user, but as a search engine marketing tool, I'm told it's quite handy. You can check the site out here.
